Through my years of studying architecture I learnt how to feel the different
textures and finishes of materials around me. The sense of touching the
surfaces and reading into the histories, the capabilities and the possibilities of
each material.
And as I began moving around the world I felt the urge to document the scenes
and events that I'm experiencing. Thus I began to experiment with the way the
lens capture a scene through emphasizing the tactile qualities of the natural
and built environments. That was my textural investigation. Slowly, my eyes
began to feel rather than merely see.
